Oscillator
Here, you can set the basic wave form.
For the basic, “Wave Pattern” and “Noise”are enough allready to start.
Let`s us explain the varity of wave patterns that are used for 8 bits sound source.
・Square Wave(12.5%、25.0%、50.0%、75.0%)
Typical electric sound that is used for melody and submelody.
・Triangle Wave
This is an roundish odd harmonics low sound that is used for Bass as well as Tam-tam.
・Noise
It represents low bit noise in 8bit that is common for Drum.
Others at 8Bitone are
・Sawtooth Wave
・Sine Wave
, etc.
Envelope
General ADSR envelope is able to be used here.
・Attack
It indicates duration from begining to give a sound until reaching the most loud limit after you push the keyboard.
・Decay
Time from most loud sound until it reachs Pedal Point.
・Sustain
Volume of sustained tone.
・Release
It shows duration after release one hand from keyboard until soundless.Decay can be regulated if Attack and Sustain in 0 position, . This decrement sound is used for drum sound.
Modulation
You can stimulate the Volume or Pitch.
Turn around the “DEPTH” and “SPEED” knob to experience modulation.
・DEPTH
The vibration are getting bigger as well as the value.
・SPEED
The increasing value shows that the speed are getting fast.
Turn round the “OSC” knob to change wave form in modulation.
The wave form that are able to be used is same with Oscilator one.
High Speed Arpegiator
It is used for returning to a normal interval on the halfway with lower tone, to play constant octave in loop and to use at harmony, etc.
You can get the effect while change the setting of “SINGLE” and then “LOOP”.
・Octave Slider
Add the octave with the order from left.
In “SINGLE”, the process will start from the left in order, and adds from the most right octave to the last.
In “LOOP”, it works with the order from the left and steps the octave on the right that is not 0, and come back to the most left afterwards.
・TIME
Switch Octave Speed is operated here.
Completion
The completed setting is stored with a song as the Voice.
One song has 128 voices.
Put the name for the voice of your favorite sound creation!
Voice Window will be opened if you touch Voice Name.
After the voice that you are edited at that moment is choosen, touch “RENAME”, and then put the name there.
To edit the other voices, you can choose “New Voice”, edit it, and “OK” to set.
